Samir Zakir (founder and CEO of Illumin8 Entertainment) is a visionary entrepreneur driven by a mission to create cultural change through entertainment, politics, business, and philanthropy. His passion for enhancing mental well-being and promoting holistic wellness defines his career, inspiring initiatives that uplift and transform.

As Founder and President of A New Era America, a nonprofit organization, Samir leads a nonpartisan movement addressing humanitarian challenges in America through intergenerational solutions that enhance collective wellbeing and prosperity.

Samir also serves as the Founder and CEO of Illuminate Entertainment Group, a global media and lifestyle company. Its flagship brand, Illumin8 Entertainment, specializes in producing content that blends creativity with purpose.

Under his leadership, the company produces projects like his directorial debut, KAMALA, which explores Kamala Harris’s underdog journey, life, and legacy. Through KAMALA, Samir seeks to unite audiences by showcasing Harris's humanity and her dedication to elevating others’ wellbeing.
